Hi Everyone!
Mason jars have a wide variety of uses. From food storage all the way to home decor. They're very versatile and can make a great addition to your home.
Today I'm going to show you how to create a mason jar dispenser.
Here are the list of materials I used for this project:
- Mason jar (can be any size as long as it has a standard mouth opening)
- Paint of any color or style. I used chalk paint
- Scissors
- Paint brushes
- painter's tape
- Dispenser kit

1. Figure out ideas on how you'd like your jar to look. You can match your home decor or go for something fun and creative.
(I decided on a chalkboard theme since I like the idea of putting a label on the jar that I can wipe off and it fits my home decor.)

2. Take the lid off the jar. You can save the lid for another jar or craft. You will not be needing it for this project.

3. Start marking your jar with masking tape. This step is totally up to you and the look you're wanting. You can be simple and paint the entire jar one color or you can put a design on it.

4. Once you got your masking tape in place, make sure you have it pressed onto the glass tightly. You don't want any air holes or paint can seep into the edges.

5. Now you can start painting! This is where you can let your imagination run wild.

6. You can paint in multiple layers or just one. It just depends on your design. I ended up painting in 2 layers. Let each layer completely dry before starting a new layer.

7. Once all your painting is done, it's time to put your dispenser kit together. Each kit can be slightly different, so adhere to your dispenser's instructions for reference if different. You can find various kits at amazon. I found mine at FactoryDirectCraft.com.

8. First thing to do is to put your tube piece into the dispenser. Then put your dispenser up against the jar and determine the tube length you need. Once you determine you can cut it as needed.

9. Once that's done, you'll want to put the washer into the lid like so, then screw the dispenser onto the lid.

10. Now screw the entire piece onto the jar.

And there you have it DIYers! Your very own mason jar dispenser.
